Senior Support Engineer

Join a dynamic team! Our client is in search of a seasoned and adept Senior Support Engineer to complement their skilled workforce. We are looking for an individual with a proven track record in senior support roles within the IT sector, showcasing extensive expertise as the ultimate point of escalation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate, diagnose, and resolve computer software and hardware issues.
  • Proactively monitor backups, systems, and conduct regular tests for recovery procedures.
  • Collaborate with third-party suppliers to troubleshoot and coordinate hardware repairs.
  • Ensure proper control of all IT assets and adhere to correct software licensing.
  • Document changes and solutions following change control procedures.
  • Manage and maintain RMM tools effectively.
  • Install and configure computer hardware and software.
  • Provide project support and actively participate in projects.
  • Administer and maintain customer infrastructure, covering Active Directory, Azure AD, LAN, Internet access, firewalls, and Exchange/Office 365.
  • Install and configure cybersecurity software and hardware, such as Watchguard and Sophos.
  • Contribute to the on-call "out of hours rota" for 24/7 support contracts.
