We are working with a fantastic IT company based in London who are looking to grow their team. They have a fantastic environment and are looking for someone with helpdesk or external IT support experience who is looking for a varied and interesting role, supporting external clients in London. This role will be based in Potters Bar and will predominantly be providing remote support and assistance to a wide range of clients and playing a key role in interesting IT projects.

The IT Support role: 

We are recruiting for an IT Support Engineer to join my clients growing company in Potters Bar.

You will take ownership of client requests, ensuring problems and queries are resolved with to company SLA\'s. Successful candidates for this role must have excellent troubleshooting skills combined with very good written and verbal communication skills. This is a highly varied role, working on a range of projects, providing support on a range of systems and servers.

*Drivers Licence required* 

The IT Support candidate:

Essential skills and hands on experience with:

  • Windows Server 2003/2008/2012
  • Active Directory
  • Microsoft Office Applications
  • Basic Networking
  • Driving licence essential

Desirable Skills and experience:

  • Microsoft Lync Server
  • Microsoft SharePoint
  • Citrix Applications
  • MCSE Certified or equivalent

Strong working knowledge of the following:

  • To be responsible for onsite support for some of our large clients with large networks.
  • To act as an escalation point for other engineers
