IT Support Engineer

£25,000 - £28,000 (DOE) + Benefits

My client, a well-established Managed Services Provider are looking to expand their talented Support desk.

Due to expansion, they are now looking for an IT Support Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis, providing on-site support & Remote support.

Responsibilities:

  • To be the primary support contact to our client base, resolving the majority of 1st / 2nd line support requests via remote tools and Face to Face, while providing an exceptional client experience.
  • Take responsibility and co-ordinate escalated tickets with other team members.
  • Site visits & client meetings will be expected.
  • Help identify and develop policies and procedure that improve the client experience.
  • General client relationship management.

The right person:

  • Outstanding communication, both written and verbal.
  • Solid troubleshooting, problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Experience of working for a Managed Services Provider (IT Support Company / MSP)
  • Microsoft, CompTIA, Cisco or other relevant qualifications will help but are not essential.
  • IT knowledge and experience of the following would be advantageous:
    • Office 365
    • Google Workspace
    • Windows OS Support
    • MacOS Support
    • Mimecast / Sophos experience desired
