Senior Java Developer

We are recruiting for a profitable privately-owned company with offices based in Crawley and London that deliver through their network of IT and telecoms partners globally and have over 7,000 active customer sites.

Reporting to the Software Development Lead, the Senior Java Developer will be working within a team of highly experienced developers who are engaged in ensuring consistent product functionality and enhancing the application to ensure it stays at the forefront of the field.

This role will give you an opportunity to fully harness your software engineering skills. You will review, supervise, and provide guidance on other team members’ proposed designs, in addition to proposing and orchestrating top and low level design decisions yourself.

What Will The Successful Candidate Be Like?

This role would be suitable for a highly skilled software engineer looking to actively apply their expert software engineering design authority skills.

You will have extensive commercial experience being a product and architectural design authority and must be able to demonstrate that you have designed and developed web apps in a range of technologies and programming languages.

IT Systems Support Engineer

Our client is a specialist and leading supplier of electronic communication and signal intelligence technology to niche markets.

Due to continued growth and business demands, they are currently looking to recruit an IT Systems Support Engineer to work onsite at one of their client sites based in either Gillingham or Stratford. You will predominately be based at your chosen site, although some travel between sites will be expected.

Salary: Up to £25,000 – £30,000 depending on experience

Location: Stratford OR Gillingham, Kent

Hours: Monday to Friday 08:00 – 17:30 (flexible) + On-call rota

Note: Due to the nature of the role full background screening and security clearance will be required and must be willing to undertake DV clearance

Benefits: 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, Pension Scheme, discretionary annual bonus, private health scheme
