An exciting opportunity for a Marketing Officer has arisen on a 6 month contract to work for this College Group based at their Redhill site.

 

Salary: £25,500 to £28,500 pro rata

 

Hours and Benefits: 08:45 to 17:00, free parking, generous annual leave, gym membership, pension, excellent training and much more

 

Reporting directly to the Marketing Manager – you will have the following skills and experience:

 

  • Proven experience in a Digital Marketing role, working on websites and social media campaigns
  • Proven advanced design skills using Adobe Creative Cloud packages (in particular Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop)
  • Proven experience of managing and producing finished artwork and content for digital marketing and print
  • Exemplary copywriting and proof-reading skills
  • Experience of evaluating and reporting on social media traffic
  • Event management experience through to delivery
  • A full UK driving license and have the willingness to use your own vehicle for work purposes

What will your working week be like?

 

The post holder will be responsible for designing, art-working, maintaining and developing internal and external communications across the group; working with marketing team members; using collateral and online mechanisms to ensure delivery of clear and consistent messages.

 

  • Design and artwork, using Adobe Creative Cloud packages, College collateral and online visuals including course guides, adverts, banners, newsletters, leaflets, brochures, posters and online activity; in line with brand guidelines.
  • Proven experience of managing and producing finished artwork and content for digital marketing and print
  • Support the Marketing Manager on development projects, including co-ordinating internal departments to deliver requirements to deadlines, developing creative to ensure all elements are in line with the brand direction and presenting back to relevant departments for implementation
  • Support all relevant College departments producing customer-facing communication to ensure a continuous and consistent message is presented across all touch-points and including design, production and implementation across the cycle
  • Copywriting and proof reading for all College materials, websites and social media sites
  • Developmental work and content management of the College websites using the College Content Management Systems; and in addition, liaising with external web developers on projects
  • Generate press releases and coordinate press release distribution to create additional promotion to local communities and businesses
  • Event management for both internal and external events (College Open Events, schools, businesses, and community events), including attending and representing the College and the Marketing department

 

Due to business needs, there is the potential of the role being made permanent at the end of the fixed term.
