An exciting opportunity for a Marketing Manager has arisen to work for this College Group based between their two sites in South Croydon & Redhill.

 

Reporting directly to the Head of Marketing, your role will be to drive forward the Colleges’ brand presence within the region and to support in the delivery of online and offline marketing messaging and event planning.

The successful candidate must have:

  • Proven advanced design skills using Adobe Creative Cloud packages (in particular Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop)
  • Proven experience of managing and producing finished artwork and content for digital marketing and print
  • Exemplary copywriting and proof-reading skills
  • Event management experience through to delivery
  • A full UK driving license and have the willingness to use your own vehicle for work purposes

What will your working week be like?

 

  • Input into the creation and delivery of the Colleges Marketing Strategy
  • Serve as press officer, working to build relationships and opportunities with local press contacts
  • Management of key marketing personnel, including target setting, training, performance management and monitoring personal development
  • Ownership of the Colleges brand identity. Setting the creative direction for the brand and disseminating messages to ensure consistent roll-out across the Group
  • Prepare the Colleges’ creative annual campaign calendar. Plan, formulate, execute and analyse campaigns across all channels
  • Produce campaigns to raise profile, increasing competitiveness and visibility of the College brands
  • Proof read and quality control all Marketing communication items, to ensure a high-quality consistent brand message at every touchpoint
  • Manage website content across all College websites, co-ordinating website copy and visual identity using the Group Content Management Systems
  • Evaluate and optimise the search engine positions to drive exposure
  • Photograph key events, write news copy and select imagery for publication across multiple channels
  • Produce artwork for College newsletters and annual reports at varying points throughout the College year
  • Research ongoing analysis of social trends, keeping up-to-date with developments in technology and communication channels
  • Produce management reports for all areas within the department to ensure visibility of activity
