My client is a highly reputable and well-established MSP who provide fully managed IT services, projects and consultancy to various small and medium-sized businesses throughout the UK. They’re now looking for new 2nd Line Support Technicians to join their growing technical team.
So over to you…
You will be responsible for providing consistent, high quality, customer focussed 2nd line support to a number of different clients throughout the UK.
You will become part of dynamic team and will be expected to have solid experience in an IT support role. You will provide IT support to external clients from varied industries. You will be providing support for Windows Servers, Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange in wide variety of IT environments.
Your role will include the below (but not be limited to)
- Proactive monitoring of IT systems
- Helpdesk and incident management
- Providing onsite and remote support
- User, PC and server configuration
- Router/Firewall configuration and troubleshooting
- System checks including backup and antivirus monitoring and reporting
The successful candidate will have a broad technical background and experience in the following skills:
- Active Directory on Windows Server 2012 and upwards
- Microsoft Exchange 2010 and upwards
- Microsoft Office 365
- Remote Desktop Servers
- Windows 7/8/10 Desktop OS Support
- Networking protocols including TCP/IP
You must have the ability to demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to deal with problems and technical issues in a pressurised and time-sensitive environment. Ideal candidate must be motivated to excel in all areas and willingness to learn new technologies.
You are also required to have a driving license.
