Established over 30 years ago, my client are a specialist insurance provider, with a number of different brands under their belt, meaning that the development work is varied and interesting. They are looking for an experienced Frontend Developer to join their team on a permanent basis, to be responsible for the development of key websites and new features.

 

Roles and Responsibilities for the Frontend Developer:

 

Working alongside a PHP Developer, you will take ownership of all Frontend responsibilities. This forward thinking organisation have four websites and are looking at adding a mobile application, meaning you have a lot to keep you busy in this role. They have also developed their own internal systems.

Ideal Skills and Experience for the Frontend Developer:

 

  • Semantic, well organized HTML5 and CSS3/SASS responsive coding
  • JavaScript / jQuery
  • Experienced in using WordPress
  • Self-driven and highly motivated
  • Able to work using your own initiative

 

What the client can offer the Frontend Developer:

 

  • 20 days annual leave (rising 1 day per year up to 25)
  • Stakeholder Pension Scheme
  • 09:00 – 17:30 Mon – Fri
  • Social Activities
