My client is a highly reputable and well-established MSP who provide fully managed IT services, projects and consultancy to various small and medium-sized businesses throughout the UK. They’re now looking for a new 1st/2nd Line Support Technicians to join their growing technical team.

 

So over to you…

 

You will be responsible for providing consistent, high quality, customer focussed 1st and 2nd line support to a number of different clients throughout the UK.

 

Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Provide technical advice to customers searching for solutions
  • Escalate issues to vendors and distributors where necessary
  • Arrange repairs in-house or with vendors
  • Test new software, products and solutions
  • Assist the team with day to day support
  • Take incoming support calls from customers
  • Apply troubleshooting techniques with customers facing issues
  • Log support tickets
  • Customer documentation
  • On-site visits to customers as and when required
  • Remote desktop support with customers where required

 

Skills required/desirable:

  • Experience providing 1st / 2nd line direct end-user IT support.
  • Installing, troubleshooting, supporting Windows 7,8,10 operating systems.
  • Basic Networking knowledge.
  • Active Directory, Group Policy, Exchange
  • PC Hardware and troubleshooting.
  • Experience using and troubleshooting Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritise work and manage projects.
