My client is a specialist supplier of software to the aviation industry.  My client is a hugely successful business that operates globally, and is showing exciting expansion into other industry areas. The working environment is second to none, and they can offer an exciting and fast paced role with a great team of colleagues.

 

Our perfect Software and Customer Support Candidate:

 

  • You will have a 1st and 2nd line technical support background with experience of resolving IT / software issues.
  • You will have experience liaising with clients by telephone and email day-to-day, occasionally in person.
  • You will be confident speaking to external clients under pressure and will have outstanding customer service skills.
  • You will have a methodical problem solving ability, and a desire to learn and solve new problems with software.
  • You will have excellent organisational skills and time management.
  • You will have flexibility and adaptability – must be able to carry out and switch between multiple types of task every day.
  • You must be comfortable with technology – good working knowledge of MS Office and a ‘knack’ for computers.

 

What is a typical day in the role?

 

  • You will be answering questions from a broad range of clients on how to use bespoke software.
  • You will assist with changes to system configuration.
  • You will investigate issues as reported by clients to identify whether there is a user error or software bug.
  • You will communicate with the development team on a daily basis to understand outstanding issue status.
  • You will perform proactive account reviews with clients to ensure the highest levels of satisfaction.

 

In addition, any of the following would make you the perfect candidate:

 

  • Previous experience in, or knowledge of/interest in the aviation sector.
  • Experience within the SaaS sector, knowledge of JIRA or knowledge of Zendesk.
