My client is looking for an experienced IT Support Technician with exceptional client facing skills and experience of working in an MSP / Managed Services / IT Support Company environment and with solid skills in 1st, 2nd and 3rd Line Support to join their team on a permanent basis.

 

Experience of 2nd and 3rd Line IT Support. Experience in deploying, configuring and troubleshooting.

3rd Line Support:

 

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 years solid commercial experience working for an MSP. Also needs to have good experience with design, implementation, and migration of Microsoft Infrastructure Products. Desirable candidates will have commercial experience in deploying and deliver an IT Project.

 

They will possess a strong technical skill and have the ability to work unsupervised using own initiative and must be available to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends on a shared shift basis. Around 80% of the work is carried out remotely from our office based in Royal Tunbridge Wells. There is also a large element of telephone work, therefore, excellent communication skills are essential.

 

Duties:

 

  • Managing and Administrating Office 365 accounts
  • Migrating managing and Administering Virtual servers in Azure
  • Maintenance and monitoring of both physical and virtual servers
  • On‐site support for all hardware and software
  • Setting up and monitoring of backups (Veeam, Symantec, Vembu, Windows Server)
  • Managing of Virtual servers running on VMware/Hyper-V
  • Assisting in various projects and working as part of a team or individually.
  • Prioritize and provide support as necessary Managing escalations and SLA’s
  • Ensuring that all documentation regarding support and Processes are accurate and up to date
  • Connectivity setup and monitoring for customers liaising with ISP’s and BTW to raise and chase Connectivity issues
