IT Technician

Salary: £23,000 to £25,000

Location: Crawley

 

Are you a strong IT Technician, looking to work in a front line role without shifts?  Would you like to join a forward thinking IT Team?  Are you keen to be involved in projects as well as the day to day support and maintenance? My client can offer you Monday to Friday 8 – 4 (or 8.30 to 4.30), a public sector pension scheme, 22 days holiday plus an additional 3 days at Christmas.

This position will offer support two Primary Academies in the Crawley area, as well as some project work and support within the Croydon academies.

 

More about you…..

 

Ideally you will have two years’ experience within an IT Support role, giving you the confidence to investigate, diagnose and resolve IT issues on your own initiative.  You will be maintaining existing IT Systems so knowledge of network security, server maintenance and Microsoft and Apple Server and System management, including Active Directory is necessary.

 

Experience in a client facing role is ideal as you will be supporting staff and students across the academies, both face to face and over the phone with queries involving anything from changing a toner, to resolving an IPad issue, to resolving a server warning light.
