Job Description for the PHP Developer:

 

  • You will be contributing towards the building, testing and implementing of new features and functionality to new and existing websites.
  • You will form an integral part of the team, attending scoping, stand-up and kick off meetings to help scope and influence internal projects.
  • You will help maintain and expand their successful ecommerce system, which is based on PHP MVC framework, CodeIgniter.
  • You will have a lively interest in new technologies, as well as offering constructive ideas and initiatives on how to improve current systems.
  • This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced PHP developer to take the next step in their career, and to join them to help deliver the continued growth of their business.

 

Specific Skill Requirements for the PHP Developer:

 

  • 2 years’ experience of PHP, specifically within an MVC pathway
  • Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, Javascript and Bootstrap
  • Solid experience of version control with GitHub
  • Solid experience utilizing modern MVC frameworks
  • Knowledge of web services, API and payment gateway integration
  • Working experience with MySQL database queries and experience within Magento would be advantageous.
