IT Service Delivery Co-Ordinator / Field Engineer / 1st / 2nd Line Support Analyst:
Our client is an innovative and successful IT company with head offices in the Croydon area. They have contracts with clients all over the UK and due to continued success and an incredibly loyal client base, they are now looking for an IT Support Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. There is huge opportunity within this role for you to progress your skills and technical knowledge, and play a key role in all areas of the business including operations and client retention as well as IT Field Support. You will be working to resolve IT issues adhering to strict SLA’s, dealing with a wide range of IT hardware and software issues, but you will also have the opportunity to attend site visits and play a key role in IT projects. The sky is the limit with this role!
We are looking for an IT candidate who is extremely flexible, as some of the field visits are completed out of hours (overtime is paid and time off in lieu is offered and these visits are scheduled ahead). You will need to be a driver, ideally with your own car, and be happy to travel to client sites across the UK, with full expenses paid.
We are looking for someone who has experience of supporting clients, either remotely through a helpdesk system, or by visiting client sites. You will have good diagnostics experience and a knowledge of hardware and software, as well as the basics of networking and server including the Microsoft Office Suite, Exchange, Active Directory and Group Policy, Office 365, backup and anti-virus solutions and general desktop applications.
