Contract IT Support Engineer

£160 - £180 per day

Duration: 1 week initially, with further project work available!

• Are you an experienced IT Support Engineer with good server skills and experience of 1^st, 2^nd and some 3^rd line support?

The Contract IT Support Engineer Role:

Our client are a well-known, successful IT support company with a loyal client base in the local area. Due to current workload, they are looking for an experienced IT Support Engineer with good server skills to work for them on a contract basis, to support their customers. The role is for a few days initially, with a good chance of further project work in the near future once a relationship has been established. The Contract IT Support Engineer Will Have the Following Technical Skills / Experience:

• Retail IT Support experience, or warehouse support knowledge including fleet management, warehouse management systems, distribution and cage tracking would be a bonus.
• MS Windows 7 & 8 & 10
• Server 2003, 2008 & 2012 (installation, configuration and support)
• MS Office 2010 & 2016.
• Office 365 Cloud Support
• Active Directory and Microsoft core services, Group Policy, DNS and DHCP
• Exchange 2013
• Virtualisation using VMWare vSphere 5.5
