Position Overview

 

We are looking for a talented, self-motivated Junior Front End Web Developer with a passion for stunning web design, clean code and effective user experiences. The ideal candidate should be a critical thinker, who is creative in their problem solving with keen attention to detail, thriving on delivering modern, beautifully designed websites and mobile applications. They will have the opportunity to learn on the job, so self-motivation and willingness to expand their knowledge from the varied skillsets of the team, is also crucial.

 

Having a unified approach towards work is an important contributing factor to our dynamic and scalable workflow within the studio. Therefore a successful candidate will demonstrate efficient communication skills both within the team as well as with our clients.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Front end development from design to deployment on varied and exciting projects
  • Content management and website administration
  • Opportunity to expand skills by learning and working closely with the development team
  • SEO & performance testing
  • Client Liaison

 

Technical Requirements

 

  • Strong HTML5 & CSS3 ability
  • Basic working knowledge of JavaScript/JS Libraries (jQuery)
  • Ability to develop responsive websites from flat designs
  • Some knowledge of server side languages and concepts (PHP, MYSQL & Database Management)
  • Passion and the ability to learn on the job
  • Good communication skills within the team as well as client liaison

 

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree or higher in a related discipline (preferred but not required) and a minimum 1 years in a front-end development position.
