A specialist provider of technology and service solutions to the retail industry. Operating out of Wimbledon, London with an enviable customer base in excess of 100 customers with approximately 1,000 outlets, based predominantly in the UK and Ireland.

The individual will ideally have at least 1-2 years' experience in 1st and 2nd line support, will be interested in learning a new, bespoke software application and providing support on this on a daily basis, and be able to support and help customers with technical issues and in getting the best out of the software.

 

The Helpdesk Analyst / Software Support Consultant role includes:

 

  • Diagnosing incidents as logged by our clients regarding our specific software.
  • Providing User and Desktop support and troubleshooting as well as training for our clients.
  • Liaising with clients on a daily basis, updating them on any incidents logged on the helpdesk.
  • Record all entries into our CRM solution and maintaining the database.
  • Working closely together with the In-house IT team.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Producing call stats reports.

 

Essential:

 

  • 1-2 years' helpdesk / service desk experience.
  • An interest in learning a bespoke software application, and providing support on this.
  • Good desktop support and desktop hardware experience.
  • Good knowledge of MS products (MS Office, Windows, user management under AD).
  • Willingness to travel to our client's suppliers' overseas offices occasionally to help support team.
  • Excellent English verbal and written skills.
  • Maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Producing call stats reports
  • Knowledge of Windows 7, Active Directory (AD), MS Office, Desktop Support.

 

Desirable:

 

  • Computing related degree.
  • Networking experience i.e. LANS, TCP/IP
  • MCP or MCT etc.
  • Computing related degree will be an advantage.

*Please note that this role involves some shift work (8-4, 9-5.30 and 11-8).
