About the Software Developer Role:

The successful Developer will be responsible for the development of bespoke systems and software applications which support a large user base within the financial services market. Our client has a number of exciting development projects coming up, and the developer will play a key role in these, using technologies including .net framework, in particular Windows Forms (Winforms), VB.Net, C#, Visual Basic 6, SQL Server, SharePoint and PLSQL.

 

Duties and Experience Required for the Developer:

  • Solid previous programming experience.
  • Experience / knowledge in using one or more of the following .Net Frameworks, in particular Windows Forms (Winforms), VB.net or C#, Visual Basic 6, SQL Server (Inc. stored procedures & functions), SharePoint, PLSQL (Inc. stored procedures & functions).
  • Strong communication skills and a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work across the full software development lifecycle, from gathering user requirements, documenting specifications, development through to testing and evaluation.
  • In addition, any knowledge of XML, HTML, CSS, Unix, Java, JQuery, Ajax, JavaScript, MS Dynamics would be a bonus although not a requirement!
