Due to the nature of this position you must have a full clean driving licence and your own vehicle. Due to the nature of this position that you will be required to undertake a full DBS/CRB check.

The IT Cluster Engineer Role:

 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an IT Cluster Engineer to join our IT team. You will support a number of academies in the Manchester area. This is a great chance to be part of the IT team in one of the largest Multi-Academy Trusts in the UK. Having grown from 1 to 48 academies in the last 12 years, our client are exciting for new developments ahead; this is a great chance for you to come in and lead, inspire and create new chances for the people in the communities that our client works in.

Ok, so over to you! The IT Cluster Engineer Candidate:

 

The successful candidate:

 

  • Will have solid commercial IT Support experience
  • Will have a driving licence, access to your own car and be willing to travel and work flexible hours
  • Will have relevant Microsoft Certifications – MCP, MCDST, MCSA etc.
  • ITIL Foundation Certificate and CCNA Certifications desirable.
  • Relevant Apple qualifications and training preferred.
  • Advanced Windows Server 2008 / 2012 administration and a strong knowledge of Windows 7 and 10.
  • Experience of working within the education sector will be given preference!
