The Role:

 

Due to further rapid expansion we are looking for exceptionally talented and highly creative Packaging Designers of all levels, to work on a large variety of brand and own label packaging for food and non-food products.

 

With a whole new selection of work coming in and you will be involved in the creation of a fantastic variety of new brands and packaging concepts. You should be passionate about all things creative and be able to raise the standard of creativity within our company.

 

You must be Mac literate and should have a firm grasp of Adobe Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop CS5, but we also value the traditional art of designing with pen, markers and paper.

 

Job Accountabilities:

 

  • Run a large number of design projects from initial briefing through to final presentation.
  • Create new, original and exciting design concepts for a whole range of consumer packaging (food and non-food) in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop CS5
  • Design packaging for new brands and work on extensions
  • Take part in design and project briefings
  • Liaise directly with all internal account managers and design directors
  • Manage and meet deadlines

 

Job Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

 

  • Must have food packaging design experience
  • Experience working within a similar role
  • An ideal candidate would have experience designing concepts for packaging
  • Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Dreamweaver & Photoshop (CS5)
  • Apple Mac literate
  • Relevant work experience within a creative role with a strong portfolio
  • Demonstrable track record of integrity, honesty, trustworthiness and professionalism (essential)
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task across projects
  • The ability to be collaborative, understand briefs & work to tight deadlines
  • German language skills would be a great advantage but not essential
