Our client are one of the UK’s largest and most successful retailers in the UK!

Responsible for the delivery of one or more IT projects in the area of payment services. Upgrading their Payment services solution across all stores. The solution is ACI eSocket.POS payment application which will be upgraded from our current version to 2.8.

This role will manage the planning of this project, including all software integration (ACI/NCRStoreline/Paypoint) and activities to achieve PCI compliance

Key Accountabilities

  • To deliver IT development projects as agreed with the business to Superdrug standards.
  • To create project charter for the Payment Services project
  • To prepare project initiation/definition plans for Payment Services project.
  • To manage the RAID logs
  • To provide IT input to strategic and cross functional working groups.
  • To ensure that appropriate liaison occurs between development teams and IT support services.
  • To manage third parties (e.g. suppliers) in delivering the new Payments solutions

Skills & Knowledge

  • Knowledge of retail business
  • Experience of multi-site software implementations
  • Knowledge of Payment/EMV industry
  • Understanding of general PCI requirement
  • Experience of integrating Payments solutions with EPOS solutions
  • Experience of working on cross-platform projects and developments
  • Experience of working with both internal and 3rd party resource
  • Experience of acquirer accreditations
  • From a technical payments development/programming background
  • Detail focussed strong planning and organisation skills. Instils confidence in others, builds and maintains a strong team environment
  • Strong self-belief and confidence, and prepared to challenge themselves and others. Strives to meet deadlines and budget constraints, whilst meeting changing demands of the business. Willing to adopt new/different strategies to meet objectives
