As an IT Systems Engineer, you will be tasked to configure and install Control System projects with Voice Alarm and Public Address to meet customer requirements.  There is an opportunity to join the company either in a senior role, or to join in a junior position within the team and to develop into the role. 

IT Systems Engineer Responsibilities: 

  •          Technically support a project from inception though the whole life cycle of design and implementation, factory acceptance testing and site acceptance testing
  •          Provide an escalation point for the service desk for in service systems
  •          Troubleshoot and maintain knowledgebase for system products
  •          Design and support customer upgrade and migration plans 

IT Systems Engineer Responsibilities Key-Skills: 

  •          Strong Linux fundamentals - installation (including automated/unattended installation) and troubleshooting
  •          Bash scripting, and other higher level scripting language
  •          Good networking skills with an understanding of TCP/IP and the supporting protocols
  •          Technical support via telephone/email/remote access
  •          Knowledge of databases i.e. Postgres or SQL
  •          Good communication skills and be comfortable working with all levels of the organisation
