An exciting opportunity has arisen, for a Design and Marketing Officer to perform as an integral part of the marketing team within a successful College group. You will be responsible for championing the brand and raising awareness of the group of Colleges, through marketing activity, brand development, targeted campaigns, marketing collateral, corporate publications, and digital media.

 

You will have a flair for graphic design, artworking, maintaining and developing internal and external communications. In addition, you will be a source of marketing support for events and activities. You will be highly organised and able to balance multiple projects whilst liaising with a wide range of stakeholders at all levels across the business.

 

With two opportunities available, our client is looking to hire at both their sites in Redhill and Croydon with occasional travel to either site.

Who will suit this role?

 

Our client is looking for candidates who have advanced design and artworking skills using Adobe Creative Cloud (in particular: InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop) for digital marketing and print, as well as excellent marketing and communication skills. You must also have knowledge and/or experience in digital marketing. In addition the following skills and experience are required:

  • A creative portfolio or examples of recent work
  • Excellent copywriting and proof-reading skills with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A good eye for detail
  • Sound understanding of Microsoft Office
  • Degree or equivalent qualification (ideally in a Design, Marketing or Business related discipline) or relevant professional experience
  • Experience of managing and producing finished artwork and content for digital marketing and print
  • Event management experience would be desirable
