They are seeking a strong Project Manager who is able to deal with stakeholders at board and C-Level, someone who has the experience to come into this brand new role, in a standalone position and have the confidence to deal with a varied role.

We are looking to speak with candidates who have extensive experience dealing with digital projects. Insurance/Legal background would be a bonus. 

What will your working week be like?

The Senior Digital Project Manager will form strong relationships with the business units and developing communication channels between the relevant parties including all vendors/external partners.

Managing Stakeholders - communicating to stakeholders to provide progress updates so that effective decision-making can be made that facilitates the smooth and integrated delivery of projects / product features.

More about the role?  

  • Acting as the key contact for all Digital initiatives across the business
  • Continuously assessing working methods and processes and making recommendations for improvement
  • Identifying and implementing KPIs and project milestones
  • Reviewing project resources and providing an analysis on whether they meet the demands of the project
  • Ensuring key Service Level Agreements are met
  • Overseeing the project’s financial budget, notifying stakeholders of key cost implications, changes to budget, spending and cost changes
  • Analysing the success of digital solutions, producing reports and data analysis as supporting evidence
  • Ensuring all internal divisions such as Data, Legal, Compliance, Security and Marketing are included in all projects
  • Ensure projects are aligned to central digital strategy
  • Align with US PMO function on standards, reporting, documentation and planning
  • Planning - managing project high-level milestones, dependencies and third parties
  • Managing Risk - looking after project / product, operational and conduct risks & issues and communicating these to stakeholders in alignment to governance standards
  • Managing Demand - securing additional people for the project team and booking third party suppliers when needed
  • Operational & Business Readiness - taking responsibility to ensure all policies, procedures and release governance processes are followed, produced and approved before a new product or release is implemented
  • A strong understanding of software development life cycle models
  • Excellent knowledge of both Agile and traditional project management principles with the ability to work in a hybrid model as needs must
  • Previous championing Scrum / Agile methodologies on enterprise level application development projects
  • Multi-year experience working on digital projects i.e., portals, websites, internal integrations
  • Balanced business / technical background, with sufficient technical expertise to provide project leadership
  • Interpersonal skills are key – ability to have digital commercial conversations and establish a high level of customer trust and confidence
  • Insurance (Carrier or Broker) experience ideal but not necessary
