 The IT Support / IT Cluster Technician Role:

You will be part of a growing IT Team supporting a number of schools / academies in the North London area. This is a great chance to be part of the IT team in one of the largest, dynamic, multi-academy trusts in the UK. Having grown from 1 to 54 academies in the last 12 years, our client is excited at the new developments they have ahead; this is a great chance for you to come in and lead, inspire and create new chances for the people in the communities that our client works in.

 Are you the right candidate for the role?

 Working as part of an internal IT Support team, you will have strong communication skills to be able to confidently solve day to day IT issues with staff and students.

You will need to have a keen approach to customer service and the ability to identify incidents whilst setting key priorities. You will ensure the smooth running of ICT systems over several sites to facilitate Teaching, Learning, Administration and Leadership through effective network and hardware configuration and maintenance.

This role demands strong knowledge of Windows 10 and basic Windows Server 2008 /12 administration.

  • Minimum 1 year experience within IT Support
  • You will ideally have a driving licence and your own transport
  • Will ideally have IT qualifications or working towards Microsoft Certifications such as – MCP, MCDST, MCSA etc.
  • Knowledge of Windows Server 2008 / 2012 administration, Windows 7 and 10, Active Directory, Exchange etc.
  • Team player prepared to work to achieve results.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
  • Willingness to undergo appropriate checks, including enhanced CRB checks
