What is required for the SDM role?
- Demonstrable IT technical and service management experience.
- Working in a complex IT environment comprising both internal and external IT providers.
- Preferably practical experience of implementing or managing IT Service delivery using ITIL processes.
- Ability to manage small teams in a dynamic environment delivering business critical systems.
- Experienced in using and working with ConnectWise.
- Working in a formal structured environment, e.g. financial services, insurance or similar regulated industry, preferred.
Responsibilities for the role:
The job holder will be expected to define, introduce and operate appropriate service delivery processes, controls and metrics to develop an efficient and professional IT service delivery function IT Service Delivery and its stakeholders. Ensuring an extremely high level of customer service is carried out by the whole team and customer and clients are left satisfied.
The successful applicant will have direct responsibility for the management and leadership of the IT Service desk, and application support teams. Effective management of internal and external IT suppliers will also be critical to ensure delivery of IT services.
