  • Extensive experience with the Microsoft technology stack - Office 365, Intune, Azure etc.
  • Experience of working for a managed services provider (IT Support company) or in a similar, customer focussed environment.
  • Be happy to work at all levels. This is a level 3 position but you will be mentoring junior engineers.
  • Microsoft Certifications, or studying towards them.
  • Are confident communicating with people by telephone, email and in person
  • Are well-organised, thorough and able to plan and deliver complex projects to tight deadlines
  • Enjoy helping people and working in a team, learning quickly and sharing knowledge
  • Like to work on making yourself and your team better
  • Are a stickler for detail
  • Love technology and want to work with Microsoft technologies including cloud. Experience in: Windows Server, Exchange Server, Windows 10, Microsoft Office, Office 365), Apple, Firewalls. Networking, backup, virtualisation (Hyper-V)
  • Want to apply enterprise level IT service management to small and medium sized businesses in a highly professional environment

What will your working week be like?

On a day to day basis, you will be providing excellent customer service to external clients, up to a senior level. You will be acting as an escalation point for the technical team. Other duties include:

 

  • Troubleshoot problems by telephone, remote access and onsite visits.
  • Help improve company systems, procedures and knowledge.
  • Ad hoc and planned mentoring of technical colleagues
  • System builds, configuration and installation (remote or on-site)
  • Diligent documentation and time-keeping
  • Solution design and research and development for internal and client use
