The Cisco Field Engineer – More Information:

 

The technical environment is multi-vendor with the main focus of this role being Cisco Meraki.

 

The Cisco Field Engineer will be responsible for providing WAN, LAN, WLAN and security consultancy, design, and commissioning services to our customer base, with special emphasis on Cisco Meraki & Cisco SaaS services such as Umbrella, CloudLock, AMP etc.

 

Responsibilities/Duties for the Cisco Field Engineer:

  •  Implement network solutions to meet stated project requirements.
  • Install and support Cisco switches, wireless AP’s etc on client sites, and provide troubleshooting services
  • Audit and document client infrastructure.
  • Spend an estimated 50% of your time on (local) client sites, providing an exceptional level of service and technical troubleshooting services.
  • Install, configure and test new equipment on client sites.
  • Ensure that infrastructure is fully documented and performing as required for internal and customer SLAs.

 

The Network Engineer Candidate – We are keen to speak to candidate with Cisco Routing and Switching skills to CCNA or CNP level.
