Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Provide on-site, remote and email support
  • Server Installations/Migrations
  • Exchange Installations/Migrations
  • Router & Firewall Installs
  • Network diagnostics
  • Take ownership of client requests and issues
  • Ensure problems as queries are resolved within SLA and to the client’s satisfaction
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot both hardware and software issues

 

The Successful IT Support Engineer must have:

 

  • Windows Server 2008/2012/2019
  • Microsoft Exchange 2010/2013/2019
  • Microsoft Office Applications
  • Networking, including Enterprise firewalls
  • Virtualisation –VMware / Hyper-V
  • Microsoft Technologies AD, GPO, DNS, DHCP

 

Desirable skills and experience:

 

  • Managed Service Provider (MSP) experience
  • Full UK Drivers Licence
  • FortiGate
  • StorageSAN iSCSI
  • Microsoft SharePoint
  • Citrix Applications
  • SQL
  • Linux
  • Cisco
  • VMware Certified Professional (VCP) in vSphere
