My client is a hugely successful specialist supplier of software and consultancy to the aviation industry. Airlines, private jet operators, airports, maintenance facilities and training providers all enjoy the benefits of their software-as-a-service management solution.

The Role:

The successful candidate will play a leading role in the company’s software development team. The team are in the early stages of planning a significant evolution of the system, so now is a great time to join and help shape the future architecture and UX of the product.

You will work across back-end and client-side code to deliver the roadmap of new features and technical enhancements planned for the product. Additionally, you will also work closely with the Customer Support team to assist with queries from clients and play an active role in the day-to-day technical operation of the system.

Key skills and experience required:

ASP.NET 4.5 / C# / Web Forms / MVC
Entity Framework 6
SQL Server and T-SQL
Web Services / XML
HTML / CSS
JavaScript with JQuery and JQuery UI

Additionally, the following are not essential but would be beneficial:

Experience with AngularJS, Ember or other MVVM frameworks
CI and DevOps techniques and technologies
iPad / iOS app development
Experience working within a fast paced Agile environment
Client-facing experience
Interest in/knowledge of Aviation
