This role would suit a Programmer with at least 2 years commercial development experience using .Net technologies, or a more experienced Developer looking to progress their career. We are looking for someone whom is keen to develop themselves further within a fantastic organization.

 

The Company

 

My client is a leading financial services organization with a well-established development team who is currently growing. They have a number of bespoke applications internally and are looking for an experienced Developer to join their team on a permanent basis. Role

 

  • 2-3 Years previous programming experience developing bespoke applications.
  • A degree in Computer Science or related discipline which has included programming as part of the qualification.
  • Programming experience gained within a bank or building society would be desirable.
  • Experience in using one or more of the following: .net framework, in particular
  • Windows Forms (Winforms), C#.net, SQL Server (inc. stored procedures & functions), Sharepoint, PLSQL (inc. stored procedures & functions).
  • A keen attention to detail with the ability to debug programs by testing for and fixing errors and able to check code for errors, fixing any found.
  • Able to use code libraries to simplify the writing.
  • Desirably would like someone who has worked across these areas XML, HTML, CSS, Unix, VB.net, MS Dynamics.
  • Confident, professional and proactive manner with the ability to translate complex requirements into specifications for development.

In order to be considered for the position you should have an IT related qualification and have a genuine interest in IT, whether this is a from school, a degree or further study.  Due to the shift based hours you should ideally live locally or be able to drive with access to your own car.
