My client is a certified Partner, based in Brentford with offices in Barcelona, Pakistan, South Africa and one in the process for the US. They deliver great mobile and web solutions for clients across many industries on a global scale. Established for over 5 years and currently in the process of rapid growth!

 

They take a collaborative approach with clients as well as with the team: share your ideas, experiment with technology, be creative, take ownership, challenge everything, and get excited with the challenges we give you!

 

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the full software development lifecycle, including conceptualizing, designing, solution architecture, building and coding clear, quality code to create and enhance the best software solutions for the business internally and also for our customers.

 

You will be involved to test your code, identify errors and ensure quality code. You will also support our customers and partners by troubleshooting any of their software. You will work in our global team, on various projects. You will also be involved in a new low code development platform – OutSystems!

 

About the Software Developer Role:

 

The successful Developer will be responsible for the development of bespoke systems and software applications, which support a large client base on a global scale. Their clients have a number of exciting development projects coming up, and the developer will play a key role in these, using OutSystems. You be trained and become a fully certified OutSystems developer, all paid for!

 

This will suit someone who has recently graduated and looking to start an exciting career in development!

 

Skills Requirements:

 

  • C# .NET or Java
  • Server Pages (ASP, JSP, PHP or similar)
  • TSQL scripting
  • Database management (Creating Tables, managing data, managing integrity)
  • JavaScript and JQuery
  • CSS

 

Experience Requirements:

 

  • Diploma or Higher in Programming / Development related courses.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in Web Development
  • Must have been part of at least one large scale application Development lifecycle (Development, Testing, Go Live and Production support)

 

Required Attitudes:

 

  • Must be able to work through and solve problems on one’s own.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with both the team and with the client.
  • Must be able to deliver to a deadline.
  • Must be professional.

 

Additional benefits:

 

  • Knowledge and/or experience of OutSystems beneficial
  • Knowledge of SOAP and REST services (Configuration, integration and development)
  • Server Management (MS Server 2012 and up)
  • AWS and or Azure
  • SQL server management (Instance Configuration, Database maintenance)
