Our client is a busy and growing digital agency who are specialists in making complex information easy for users to understand and interact with. Looking for a PHP Developer with a minimum of 2 years’ experience, and a real passion for Web Development to join the team. You will have the opportunity to work with talented, professional developers on existing and new client accounts following our company values of excellence, trust and intelligence. 

 

Ideal Skills and Experience for the BackEnd Developer:

 

  • Proven commercial experience in Software or Web development within an agency environment or client side.
  • Strong knowledge of PHP frameworks - Laravel preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL databases and their declarative query languages.
  • Used to working with third-party APIs and building bespoke RESTful APIs.
  • Understanding of the fully synchronous behavior of PHP.
  • Comfortable using version control systems such as Git along with npm package manager and task runners such as Gulp.
  • Basic understanding of front-end technologies including JavaScript, HTML5, & CSS3.
  • Knowledge of object orientated PHP programming.
  • Experience of working with CMS’s such as WordPress and Magento an advantage.
