What will your working week be like?

 

Dealing with clients, candidates must be able to build rapport with others easily. The successful applicant will be committed to providing high quality customer service in person, via email and over the phone. Duties will include:

 

  • Provide excellent customer service to external clients, up to a senior level
  • Act as an escalation point for technical team
  • Pro-active project contribution / implementation including liaising with clients and colleagues
  • Troubleshoot problems by telephone, remote access and on-site visits
  • Help improve company systems, procedures and knowledge
  • Ad hoc and planned mentoring of technical colleagues
  • System builds, configuration and installation (remote or on-site)
  • Diligent documentation and time-keeping
  • Solution design and research and development for internal and client use

 

Who are we looking for?

 

We’d like to hear from you if you:

 

  • Have Certifications, ideally Microsoft. We expect you to achieve MCSE/MCITP within 6 months of joining us
  • Have spent at least three years in a client-facing support role (possibly working for a fast-paced IT service provider servicing multiple clients)
  • Are confident communicating with people by telephone, email and in person
  • Are well-organised, thorough and able to plan and deliver complex projects to tight deadlines
  • Enjoy helping people and working in a team, learning quickly and sharing knowledge
  • Like to work on making yourself and your team better
  • Are a stickler for detail
  • Love technology: especially Microsoft (There is no requirement to have experience in all these areas specifically, but it is advantageous if you have had exposure to these: Windows Server 2012, Exchange Server 2013, Windows 8, Office 2013, Office365) BlackBerry, Apple, antivirus, firewalls (SonicWALL and Cisco Meraki especially relevant), networking, backup, virtualisation (Hyper-V)
  • Want to apply enterprise level IT management to small and medium sized businesses in a highly professional environment
