Our client is a leading online retailer who is now looking for a Test Analyst to join their successful business.

 

Job Description for the Test Analyst you will:

 

  • Write, maintain, and execute both manual and automated tests.
  • Design, review and execute test plans and regression packs.
  • Undertake your responsibilities with a focus on test automation.
  • Work closely with the development team and business stakeholders to understand project requirements and create suitable test strategies.
  • Find potential bugs and issues as early in the development process as possible.
  • Perform testing across a range of devices to ensure a high quality customer journey across their websites.
  • You will be pivotal in ensuring that the quality of the software is maintained at the highest standard through the use of automated and manual techniques.
  • Ultimately, your role will be to put the customer experience first when testing their responsive websites.

 

Specific Skill Requirements for the Test Analyst:

 

  • Experience of automated testing tools and techniques. You will understand the challenges faced when testing responsive websites and be able to build test plans that reflect the multiple customer journeys.
  • You will be ISTQB certified. You will have recent experience of testing complex ecommerce platforms combined with excellent trouble shooting skills that enable to you find problems quickly.
  • You will be adept at isolating and reporting issues, and you will be able to replicate them to assist the wider development team and verify when they are fixed.
