Are you an experienced IT Support Engineer who is passionate about providing a high level of service to external clients at all times? Do you have a good basic knowledge of desktop / PC repair, Windows operating systems and networking? The Client:

 

Our forward-thinking and very well established IT client based in Westerham, Kent, (TN13), are seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer / Field Technician to join their team in order to provide technical support to their diverse and loyal client base in the London and Home Counties areas. Our client has an exceptional reputation therefore customer service is paramount! Due to the nature of this role you must be a driver with your own vehicle.

 

The IT Support Technician / Field Engineer Role:

 

The role involves working supporting a loyal customer base on a wide range of technical support issues, both remotely and face to face. We are looking for an individual with previous experience in a similar role, who is driven, highly motivated and keen to learn and progress. Sound interesting? Apply today!

 

Duties:

 

  • To provide an exceptionally high standard of technical support and assistance to clients at all times.
  • To attend client sites in London and the Home Counties.
  • To manage all incidents and customer requests from receipt to resolution and closure.
  • To ensure service level agreement standards are met.
  • Keep accurate records of all site information using IT Service Management tools.
  • Promote best practices and adhere to change control process.

 

Other:

 

  • Clean driving license
  • Own car (required)

 

Technical Knowledge Required:

 

  • Server administration
  • Networking, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP etc.
  • Email Hosting (Microsoft Exchange)
  • Anti-Virus, backup solutions
  • Active Directory, Group Policy
