The Company was established in 2002 and has offices in London-UK, Dublin- Republic of Ireland, Philadelphia and San Francisco-USA, St. Petersburg-Russian Federation, Singapore and Hong Kong.

My Client is looking for a creative mobile developer looking for a new challenge in a business that is looking to develop iPhone and Android to support their solutions in the pharma and life science sector.

This role requires you to be working with other internal departments as well as engaging with clients so good communication skills is key. An outgoing personality and good understanding of how to build relationships is vital in this business.

 

Development and Delivery:

 

  • Provide technical direction for the development, design and system integration from a development perspective through to implementation
  • Ensures that the work of the development projects meets high standard and is quality checked always.
  • Continually seeking new innovations by effectively evaluating alternative technical solution, internally.
  • Regularly dealing with other departments to gather requirements and developing technical scope documentation before starting development work with you team.
  • Maintaining and Supporting in all troubleshooting around Cloud Server Database
  • Creating and maintaining a strict coding documentation of all risk/issues and logs in relation to any of our system application.
  • Responsible to all online software related application maintenance
  • Can identify system deficiencies and implements effective solutions.
  • Conducting user-acceptance testing to ensure the program can be used easily, quickly and accurately

 

Technical Expertise:

 

  • Has extensive background and experience in the Tech Industry
  • Understands different programming languages and ability to solve problems in coding, testing and deployment
  • Possesses significant knowledge of server and internet systems architectures.
  • Understands browser / client specific compatibility issues.
  • Understand what RFI’s are and how to review and provided detailed answers
  • Supporting internal departments and provide a logical solution
  • Understands what Cloud Server Infrastructure is and how to maintain
  • Comprehensive understanding of mobile first approach

 

Application Expertise:

 

  • Xamarin (C# MVVM) cross platform development
  • Good understanding or familiar with UI frame work such as PhoneGap; React; Titanium; Ionic and Native Script
  • iOS AppStore/Google Play submission and guidelines
  • iOS/Android style guidelines and UX best practices
  • Integration with third party APIs (GraphQL/REST)
  • Integration with third party authentication services (Azure AD/B2C)
  • Native platform APIs such as TouchID/FaceID/Camera/Microphone/Geolocation
  • High performing applications (smooth transitions and animations, low memory footprint)
  • Cross platform device testing
  • Maximising code reuse between platforms
  • Offline/caching patterns
  • iOS/Android Native UI layouts and tooling (XML/Storyboards)
  • Agile development practices and methodologies
  • Bespoke Application - Bootstrap integration understanding

 

The application speaks to the CMS and vice-versa. Therefore, the app developer needs to understand how applications work and to build but also to build in a way so that they speak to the CMS (a bespoke content management system (LAMP))
