1st and 2nd Line Support Engineer / Helpdesk Analyst / Field:

 

Our client is an innovative, growing and hugely successful IT company based in Brighton. Due to continued success and an incredibly loyal client base, they are now looking for an IT Support Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.

They is huge opportunity within this role for you to quickly progress your skills and technical knowledge. You will be working on the busy helpdesk dealing with a wide range of issues, and you will have the opportunity to progress into other roles and play a key role in IT projects a little further down the line. The sky is the limit with this role!

We are looking for someone who has previous experience of working on a helpdesk, with experience and knowledge of Microsoft operating systems, Exchange, Office 365, Active Directory, networking, anti-virus and backup solutions.

 

The Technical Support Analyst – Further Information:

  • You will respond to phone calls and tickets covering the installations and maintenance for a growing client based.
  • These solutions include but are not limited to; Windows Server platforms, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Cloud Solutions, VMWare, routing, networking and desktop support.
  • This role requires high attention to detail, a friendly and responsive phone manner and excellent timekeeping.

 

Ok, so over to you! Our perfect Technical Support Analyst Will Have Knowledge in the Following Areas;

  • Microsoft Operating Systems (desktop and server 2003 - 2012)
  • Microsoft Exchange (building, installing, upgrading and migrating)
  • Office 365 (licensing, setup, migration)
  • Microsoft SQL Server (building, installing, upgrading and migrating)
  • VMware Esxi/VCentre Server
  • Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP etc
  • VPNs, Router and Firewalls
  • Networking - WAN, LAN, Security, SSL, IP Routing, Switching
  • Anti-Virus platforms such as Trend Micro
  • Backup solutions (Windows Backup, Acronis, Veeam)
