They have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Network and Systems Administrator to take on an instrumental position within an IT team who work across the latest technologies.

 

You will be managing firewalls, networks and servers, and providing some desktop support. The role requires managing, maintaining, upgrading and improving primarily Cisco devices and Microsoft Server technologies, with some end-user support when required.

The Network and Systems Administrator Duties:

 

Based in our Oxford office this is an excellent opportunity for an IT Systems Administrator to take on an instrumental position within a small IT team working across the latest technologies.  You will be managing firewalls, servers and networks, and providing desktop support. The role requires managing, maintaining, upgrading and improving primarily Microsoft Server technologies and Cisco devices, with some end-user support when required.

 

To be considered for this position you will have experience of the following technologies:

 

  • Cisco ASA Firewalls
  • Windows Servers
  • Active Directory and Group Policy
  • Switching, TCP/IP, DNS, IPv6

 

Ideally, you may have experience of the following technologies:

 

  • Microsoft Exchange
  • Skype for Business
  • DirectAccess
  • Microsoft SQL Server
  • Debian Linux
  • HP server, desktop and laptop hardware

 

Ideally, you will also have a Cisco qualification such as a CCNA or CCNP. You should also be enthusiastic with a can do attitude and be a good communicator.
