Due to continued growth, our well-established client with an outstanding reputation has an exciting opportunity for a Software Tester to join their development team in Crawley. This role would suit a candidate with experience of working within a software development environment, with a knowledge of source control systems, build processes, testing processes etc.

Our Perfect Software Tester Candidate will have the following:

 

  • Worked previously in a software development environment. Has knowledge of source control systems, build processes, testing processes, etc.
  • Has some experience with programming languages – does not need to be a huge extent, but enough to be able to create simple applications.
  • Can work under pressure.
  • Must be able to pick up new software easily – this is essential.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Regularly running and maintaining test plans for the software and ensuring latest versions of the software operate to specification.
  • Confirming changes to the software fix issues under numerous circumstances.
  • Developing test plans and ensuring they cover all customer specifications.
  • Attempting to recreate on‐site issues locally and analysing probable causes.
  • Setting up test systems to mimic on‐site behaviours
  • Developing automated testing solutions.
