YourRecruit are currently recruiting for an Infrastructure Services Manager, working for a multi award-winning financial advice business based in Farnborough.

Our client, a successful financial advice business, are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Services Manager to join their established Infrastructure Services team. You will be operating a budget of c.£2.6m, collaborating with employees across the company at all levels, including Senior Management and Heads of Department.

Salary: £50,000 to £70,000 DOE

Location:Farnborough, Hampshire – Flexible working offered.

Start: Immediately.

Working Hours: 40 Hours a week. Monday to Friday

  • The ability to communicate effectively and in writing at all levels within the company.
  • Proactive decision maker who can positively influence change.
  • Inspirational collaborative Senior Manager who supports, coaches, and leads the Infrastructure Services team to deliver technical and software solutions to support the strategy and objectives of the company.
  • Well-developed influencing skills, comfortable operating in a consultative capacity with a proven track record of delivering solutions for internal clients on time and within budget.
  • Ability to establish and maintain the confidence, trust, and support of Infrastructure Services employees.

Technical abilities that will be required or desired are as follows.

  • Telephone system, ideally Mitel

  • Citrix XenApp 7, Citrix NetScaler
  • Active Directory, Group Policy, and DNS

  • Azure
  • Microsoft SQL
  • Mimecast
  • MobileIron\Mobile Device Management
  • Data warehousing, architecture, and networking
  • Cloud platforms and technologies
  • Microsoft Office Applications
  • Scripting; PowerShell\Batch\C Script

You must also have proven experience in the following.

  • Management, oversight, and maintenance of a Microsoft operating environment from an on-site datacentre.
  • Proven experience of delivery of successful IT systems and technology projects, budget management including production of business cases and change recommendation.
  • Understanding and experience of change management, proven experience of developing, gaining support organisation wide for and implementing robust systems and solutions.
  • Evidence of strong inclusive team working approach and understanding of and ability to work with non-IT employees to translate organisation and customer needs into successful service delivery.
  • Experience of tendering, negotiation, and ongoing oversight of 3rd party supplier relationships.
