How does working for an established energy services provider for over 40 years sound? My client helps organisations manage their energy better and are well-respected within their division.

You will act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders within our group of companies. Amongst other responsibilities, you will be responsible for eliciting, capturing, documenting, and prioritising user requirements to support the Design and Development teams in delivering key projects across the business.

Responsibilities:

  •                      You will engage with stakeholders to explore, question, understand and shape their requirements.
  •                      Business Analyst tasked with leading and facilitating workshops and discovery sessions
  •                      Champion the uptake of new processes and system features; solicit feedback to facilitate continual improvement and learning
  •                      Facilitating coordination with Product Managers, Design, and the rest of the Technology Department to ensure Road Maps are published and revised as necessary.
  •                      Challenging existing rationale and driving process improvement.

Qualifications / Experience:

  •                      A recognised Business Analyst qualification.
  •                      The Business Analyst will ideally have any other technical or coding skills (e.g. SQL, C#, Data Analysis).
  •                      Experience working as a Business Analyst and ideally within the UK Utilities sector.
  •                      Degree or equivalent in relevant subject.

Skills / Ability:

  •                      An aptitude for listening, eliciting, understanding, analysing and capturing complex requirements.
  •                      Competence with Business Process Mapping and Data Flow modelling.
  •                      Familiarity and Awareness of Software Development Life Cycle concepts and Agile practices.
  •                      The ability to create and manage documentation in respect of Business Cases, Impact Assessments, Gap Analyses, User stories, Business Requirements and Success Criteria.
