YourRecruit are currently recruiting for an Onsite Support Engineer working for a rapidly growing, award-winning technology solution provider, focusing on the education sector.

Salary: circa £30,000

Location: London - WC1A

Start: Immediately

Our client, a rapidly growing technology solution provider is looking to bring on an Onsite Support Engineer to join them for the long term. Due to their rapid growth, they can provide excellent career development within a technical team of Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3 Engineers.

The ideal candidate will have previous Onsite Support Engineer experience, covering all aspects of IT support, whilst also being able to provide VIP service both remotely and face-to-face. On top of these traits, you should be highly organised and motivated to work both independently and as part of a team.

The technical skills needed to be a successful applicant for the Onsite Support Engineer role, are some of the following;

Experience in supporting Apple MacOS & Windows Desktop, Experience in TCP/IP DNS DHCP, Strong & Effective people & communication skills and a tenacious approach to working.

Also having a technical knowledge of MDM, ADE, Jamf Pro & Connect, Hyper V, O365 and more would be a big advantage. A full list of technical skills and requirement will be discussed later down the line with your application.

Responsibilities for Onsite Support Engineer:

  • Responding to and resolving technical queries from end users and VIPs.
  • MDM administration.
  • Apple Mac application packaging.
  • Desktop troubleshooting.
  • Ensuring Customer Documentation is kept up to date.
  • Working with the team to identify and implement changes to the Customer Environments to address common issues.
  • Assisting with project delivery and roll out of equipment.
  • Providing the highest level of Customer Service. 

Hours:

Monday to Friday – 09:00 to 17:00
