Our client is an exceptional financial services organisation who operate globally, are now seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst to join them on a permanent basis. To support business with a new loan platform aligned with business operations by collating requirements, reviewing designs and development, and supporting defect/incident management. 

Your role will be as the Interface between the programme, the business and IT support teams to support change, defect fix, testing and migration readiness activities.

£50,000 + Bonus + Excellent Benefits including, Pension (3% employer matched), Corporate Rates for Private Medical Insurance, Sharesave Scheme, Childcare, Local and High Street Discounts. 

The Technical Business Analyst – Primary Responsibilities:

  • Gathering and documenting functional and non-functional requirements from business stakeholders and IT support teams
  • Facilitating and supporting information gathering workshops
  • Working with business users to identify, analyse, evaluate and problem solve operational issues
  • High level testing and hands-on reviewing of software functionality and demos
  • Supporting business performance testing, troubleshooting and defect resolution
  • Managing project risks and issues
  • Managing third party contributions to the project
  • Proactively provides project support to the project manager and project teams

With the client’s head office being in Redhill Surrey, the client is offering the position on a remote working/hybrid model with expectations of attending the office, ideally 1 day a week minimum. 

The Technical Business Analyst – Key Skills:

  • Significant practical experience in a similar role with demonstrable experience of delivering projects to time, quality and budget
  • Ability to perform basic Project Management duties including planning, issue/risk management, governance
  • Ideally the candidate will be qualified to ISEB / ISTQB or equivalent level
  • Able to work within Waterfall and Agile project management frameworks
  • Experience within the financial sector beneficial
  • Project Management qualification or equivalent - PRINCE II, PMP or Agile PM certification an advantage
  • Strong communication skills and ability to adapt communication style to all levels of staff.
  • Strong business process mapping (Visio) and analysis experience
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Stakeholder management and conflict resolution
