As Technical Products Manager you will be responsible for ensuring the needs of the business are met by the delivered product(s).

Ensuring that the product(s) is compliant with all IT digital strategies, statutory and fiscal requirements and acting as Senior User in delivery activities. Own the technical and functional relationships with product suppliers and third-party partners whilst also monitoring the product(s) to ensure performance compliance. Taking ownership and executing the Change Management Process and working with business, IT and suppliers to agree delivery prioritisation and solution backlog. Advising relevant Project Managers on requirements and inputting into delivery planning and owning the cross-platform data model.

You will also:

  • Occupy a key role within our business design authorities to ensure our reference architecture and business strategic objectives remain aligned and are achieved relative to the product(s) roadmap, changes and enhancements
  • Monitoring the market and developing competitive analysis
  • Continually prioritising product features and capabilities
  • Understand the needs of the users and translate into product requirements ensuring useability, integration and compliance is covered
  • Specify non-functional requirements
  • Deliver Product Description(s) and definitions covering (but not limited to) purpose, content, high level requirements, platform and delivery methods
  • Provide Solution expertise from a technical and functional perspective
  • Offer input on business process design from a technical and functional perspective

About You: 

You will have a strong background in software consultancy and platforms ownership as well as prior experience in product management. Having experience in managing the Salesforce and Microsoft 365 and other industry leading cloud-based platforms as well as experience of working in ITIL methodology. You will also have prior experience in managing a product throughout its lifecycle.
