IT Cluster Engineer
An exciting opportunity has arisen for 2 x IT Support Engineer’s to join my client’s growing IT team where you will support across 2 sites in Croydon & Coulsdon. This is a fantastic chance to be part of the IT team in one of the largest, dynamic, multi-academy trusts in the UK. OK, so over to you! The IT Support / IT Cluster Engineer Candidate:
The successful candidate will need to have a keen approach to customer service and the ability to identify incidents whilst setting key priorities. You will ensure the smooth running of ICT systems over several sites to facilitate Teaching, Learning, Administration and Leadership through effective network and hardware configuration and maintenance.
A confident communicator, you will support colleagues and students in person and remotely, in the appropriate use of ICT equipment.
The successful candidate:
- Will have previous IT Support experience
- Will have a driving licence, access to your own car and be willing to travel (within the Croydon area and reimbursed)
- Will ideally have IT qualifications or working towards Microsoft Certifications such as – MCP, MCDST, MCSA etc.
- Knowledge of Windows Server 2008 / 2012 administration, Windows 7 and 10, Active Directory, Exchange etc.
- Experience of working within the education sector will be given preference!
